Help Us Move Forward Together
Kingston Youth Shelter has moved into our new home at 365 Nelson St.
We need $1.5 million for the purchase of the building and to complete the necessary renovations.
We are asking for the support of our community to make this happen. The support we receive from the City of Kingston, the United Way and our regular donors does not cover the cost of acquiring the building and completing the renovations.
To date, through the generosity of the Britton Smith Foundation, United Way KFLA, Henderson Foundation, Gibson Foundation, Churchill Foundation, Home Depot, Davies Foundation, Taggart Foundation, B’Nai Brith and other private donors, we have raised $1,310,000. We need help from the citizens of Kingston to raise the balance of the money to complete the renovations. If every resident of Kingston gave $1.50 (less than a medium coffee) we would be able to complete our renovations.
